Your computer is after all, a machine and like all other machines, the technical parts may malfunction. Moreover, if your computer is few years old, then there are chances that it will suffer from issues every now and then. It is not necessary that every time your computer suffers from some technical issue, you have to take your system to the service center or call up some technicians and get your issue resolved. However, there are certain issues that can be resolved with few tweaks by you. Here are few of such issues, which can be resolved without taking much pain:
My PC doesn’t recognize my USB camera
It is a very common problem that users complain about. When you plug in the camera cable, check whether your camera is ON whenever you’re plugging in the camera cable in the USB port. Most of the times, it happens that users turn on the camera after plugging it in. however, you should turn on the camera, before setting up the connection.
Monitor color problem
Sometimes, you may find weird color appearing on your screen. You might have checked with the monitor settings, but nothing proved to be of any help. We would suggest you to reach out to the VGA cable and find whether, the connection is firm or not. It often happens when the connection of VGA to the computer loosens. Certain PCs have screw kind VGA, which have to be checked for proper alignment. But, all these need to be done by turning off your PC and once the connections are tightened, you can start it up to check whether the strange color of the monitor has disappeared or not.
Lifeless mouse
This is one of the most common hardware problems, which is pretty annoying at times. When you have a dirty mouse, your mouse pointer starts jumping and you will not be able to place the cursor at a point, where you actually want to place it.
There are two things possible solutions:
- If the mouse consists of a track and ball, you should remove the ball out of it and get the rollers cleaned.
- If it is an optical mouse, then turn it over and clean the optical sensor.
Computer Freezes
The heat produced by your system because of continuous running could be a major reason behind most of the hardware problems. It can also freeze your computer. The heat produced by the system is controlled by the fan in it. So, if the fan doesn’t work properly, then you can buy a new fan for your system. However, before buying a new one, make sure that you dust off the fan, as this may happen because of a dirty fan also. You should also try to reduce the usage of the processor and hard drive to lower down this issue.
We hope, by now, you know certain issues that can be resolved easily, without a great technical knowledge.
